Here at Fanbase Press, we strive to provide an outlet for up-and-coming creators to promote and showcase their incredible works. With thousands of creators utilizing crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter and Indiegogo to make those works a reality, we will highlight these talented creators and their noteworthy campaigns through #CrowfundingFridays! We hope that you will join us in giving these projects a moment of your time (and possibly your support).
Project #1: Rockit
What it’s about: Rockit is a hairdresser and single mom with a secret even she doesn’t know: Disembodied aliens intent on conquering Earth programmed her as a lethal assassin without her knowledge. This first issue chronicles Rockit’s initial awakening, pulling back the curtain on a much larger, high-stakes epic. What begins as a seemingly localized chase soon expands into a sprawling alien conspiracy—revealing why these mysterious forces are here, how they have covertly manipulated the course of human development, and the terrifying truth behind the mechanisms they use to control us.

Project #2: Scum #1
What it’s about: Under the all-seeing eye of an AI god, Sam is the one thing no one is supposed to be… invisible. But after a heist goes wrong, she is given a choice: die the way she was born to, alone in a gutter, or join a conspiracy to kill god.
Well. Not much of a choice, is it?
SCUM #1 is a 48-page cyberpunk heist thriller for fans of The Matrix, Neuromancer, and Cyberpunk 2077.
