As conventions return to in-person events, we at Fanbase Press feel that it is important and necessary to provide virtual access to those individuals who may experience barriers to attending such events, as well as the panel programming that occurs onsite. In the years to come, our goal is to provide as many virtual panel opportunities as possible to provide greater access not only to viewers, but to the experienced and knowledgeable panelists who may also be limited by access.

Led by Barbra Dillon (Editor-in-Chief, Fanbase Press), this virtual panel – featuring comics creators Corinna Bechko (BOOM! Studios’ The Space Between), Ray-Anthony Height (Midnight Tiger), Charlie Stickney (White Ash), and Justin Peniston (Netflix’s Sonic Prime) and mental health professional Justine Mastin – assesses the current industry landscape, acknowledging the challenging areas that may be impacting creators now and through 2024, and discussing available resources that may be of help in weathering the storm.
