What it’s about: Magnetic Press is bringing back Chaiko’s MONKEY KING: THE COMPLETE OMNIBUS EDITION with a new BackerKit campaign.

Project #3: Boston Metaphysical Society: Mystery at Pikes Peak #1-4
What it’s about: If you are new to the series, the original six issue mini-series is about an ex-Pinkerton detective, a spirit photographer, and a genius scientist who battle supernatural forces in late 1800s Boston. They live in an alternate steampunk history where ghosts and demons are a normal part of life. Families known as the Great Houses control the economy of the Great States of America while the middle class and lower classes sole purpose are to serve the Great Houses.
Boston Metaphysical Society has been an ongoing series on Kickstarter for over a decade, which means we have lots of stories you can dive into if you are new to the series.

What it’s about: It started with a pirate raid…

Project #6: A Mangaka, A Kaiju, and Omega
What it’s about: After a meteor strikes near her Tokyo apartment, Katsumi Minamoto, a manga creator (mangaka), finds herself caught in the middle of a fierce battle between a bloodthirsty Space Kaiju and a giant superhero. As the world crumbles around Katsumi, she struggles not just to survive, but to fight against insurmountable odds to save her loved ones. Most of this survival tale will be uniquely seen through Katsumi’s literal point of view. You will experience the madness, horror, and brutal action of a Kaiju battle like never before.
This is a story that will be equally as visceral as it is psychological.
