Here at Fanbase Press, we strive to provide an outlet for up-and-coming creators to promote and showcase their incredible works. With thousands of creators utilizing crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter and Indiegogo to make those works a reality, we will highlight these talented creators and their noteworthy campaigns through #CrowfundingFridays! Project #1: Scott Snyder Presents: The CloakRoom 1-4
What it’s about: This issue of the continuing comics anthology series includes 54 pages of surprising, sometimes dark, and sometimes very funny, genre-spanning and genre-bending stories, and you can pick up the first three issues if you missed those campaigns. That’s 25+ stories and over 200 comics pages that we’ve done so far!
The stories were all written by members of Scott Snyder‘s writing class/workshop, which he operates through his Substack, Our Best Jackett. Many of the featured stories were written with his guidance.

Project #2: Rasp: Book One
What it’s about: Detective Agent Fritz Rasp works for ‘The Agency’, a ruthless, all-powerful institution that enforces order and discipline across a vast totalitarian metropolis of slaves. He is considered the perfect agent until the day his dark and puritanical worldview is challenged by a seemingly everyday investigation that quickly spirals out of his control and comprehension. Now forced to question everything he believes in, something unexpected will awaken within Agent Rasp…

So begins the self-discovery of this once ‘soulless’ detective as he attempts to solve the greatest mystery of his life and escape from the prison he has been unwittingly born into.

Project #3: Starlite!
What it’s about: Ever wondered what happens to child superheroes after they grow up? Find out in “The Ultra Kids: Growing Pains – Volume 1.” Explore the lives of Chris and Sara Sheridan, formerly known as Mighty Boy and The Melter, now just two normal teenagers navigating the challenges of high school and beyond.
Join them on a pulse-pounding adventure alongside the reluctant and overly opinionated journalist Roger, as they confront their fears, pasts, and Sara’s drug addiction while facing off against space-pirate cats and God-like trans-dimensional spider wizards.
