Project #1: Sewer Boyz 2 – Comic Book Remix
What it’s about: Ink & Drink Long Beach has returned from deep within the sewers of Southern California (and beyond) to gather a colossal amount of uncanny artists, whose powerful talents have combined to accomplish yet another astonishing feat: Sewer Boyz 2 – the new comic book remix! In this new adventure, the Boyz pay tribute to a classic story in an issue that has been widely regarded as the start of the Bronze Age of Comic Books – and has now been expanded into a giant-sized issue of 130+ pages in full color and presented in a soft-touch cover, featuring art by 60+ artists, and includes a sticker and a bookmark!
Each artist’s interpretation is as unique as the next, with each page showcasing their own different style. But to feature such an abundant amount of skill, the story is told almost twofold – meaning that the pages in the story will repeat, but the pages will be visually unique from one another – this is the remix.
Imagine a group of DJs remixing one melody, each sampling different breaks, each scratching at different beats, all to produce one single song.

Project #2: Tatsumi: The Serpent Mistress #1
What it’s about: Tatsumi: The Serpent Mistress #1 is the start of a brand new comic series by #TeamINSYM’s Matt Knowles and Steph Cannon, alongside artist Alessandro Ventura and colorist Alan Emmanuel. Utilizing their I AM QIDO fantasy horror one-shot graphic novel as a prequel, this story arc will follow TATSUMI NAKIHANA, the last remaining daughter of the fallen YAMARAN EMPIRE.
She’s pursuing a path of retribution and revenge against the evil horde that left her kingdom as nothing more than a trail of embers, ash, and corpses: The post-human DARK KONQUESTORS, and their vampire-like, spirit sucking accomplices: The SOUL RIPPERS.
Before she can do that, however, she must figure out her own path of survival in a world she didn’t even know existed, aligning with the most unexpected of individuals in a swashbuckling, high seas adventure.

Project #3: This Eternal Coil
What it’s about: This Eternal Coil is a 20-page comic book about the emotional and physical journey taken by a Mexican father and his daughter after the death of their matriarch. The death sets off a chain of events which draw the father into a trip through the afterlife and the daughter to investigate the strange events left in her mother’s wake.
Abraham is a former private investigator and current drunk. Abraham has become obsessed with figuring out a mystery that no one believes happened, even his own daughter, Elena. Life in the world is crumbling, the world is suffering from immortality, infertility, and the inability to heal from any injuries. In this world, one man offers a proprietary cure…for a cost, and in doing so has become the richest man in the world.
