CrowdfundingFridays: ‘Slice(s) of Life – A World Without Pizza’ and ‘Two Suns’

Here at Fanbase Press, we strive to provide an outlet for up-and-coming creators to promote and showcase their incredible works. With thousands of creators utilizing crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter and Indiegogo to make those works a reality, we will highlight these talented creators and their noteworthy campaigns through #CrowfundingFridays! We hope that you will join us in giving these projects a moment of your time (and possibly your support).

Project #1: Slice(s) of Life – A World Without Pizza

What it’s about: In a terrifying world where the President has outlawed pizza after being ridiculed for eating it with a fork and knife, comes a comedy, drama, and noir collection topped with heart and a penchant for pizza. Stories include: No Toppings for Old Men (Mario Candelaria, Laura Helsby, Jao Canola, Scott Ewen), Old Man Gino (Phil Butehorn, Roberto Duque, Scott Ewen), Personal Pan (James Ferguson, Darren Vogt), Pieces (Matt Summo, Jenny Odio, Scott Ewen)—featuring a bonus tale by all four writers, illustrated by Dan Buksa.

Project #2: Two Suns

What it’s about
Two Suns is a sci-fi story about a person who wakes up on a strange island on an alien planet with no memories of how he got there or who they are, and they have only their trusty AI companion to help them figure it all out. The world of Two Suns is full of strange, beautiful locations and creatures that we had a lot of fun coming up with.

Two Suns is also a story about break-ups and failing when we least expect it. But, how there is always the possibility, however faint, to redeem ourselves from the mistakes we have made in the past, and become someone better.
