The “Fiction in the Time of Fascism” panel took place at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 and was hosted by Fanbase Press Editor-in-Chief Barbra Dillon, featuring various professional and independent comic creators in a discussion of why dystopian comics offer accessible ways to process a challenging world and what can be learned from stories in which characters and societies face profound injustice.
