San Diego Comic-Con 2026 is finally here! To kick it off, Fanbase Press got to preview the festivities happening with Adult Swim’s annual Party on the Green that’ll be happening all weekend.
Located at Bayfront Park just behind the San Diego Convention Center, this free outdoor activation is absolutely worth your time if you’re seeking a moment for fun with friends, turning into a mini-carnival packed with rides, games, and prizes. Nearly every attraction is wrapped in the AS tongue-in-cheek gags and playful absurdity that longtime fans have come to expect.
So, basically, expect a lot of “riding some hole” jokes.

The highlight of the activation is the Rick and Morty Rambler, a classic Scrambler carnival ride reimagined with pulsing music, a Rick and Morty dance track, and strobe effects. This combination creates a surprisingly exhilarating experience, as the flashing lights make it even harder to orient yourself during the ride’s spins, strangely making the vertigo that much stronger. Those sensitive to strobe lights or prone to seizures or have a history of epilepsy should be aware, though, before hopping aboard. This hits hard.
Beyond the Rambler, attendees will find plenty of carnival games offering exclusive prizes, including tote bags and other giveaways. Plus, check out the face painting, miniature golf, and themed photo opportunities. There’s also a mechanical bull ride with a distinctly Adult Swim punchline, all to round out the experience for a collection of attractions that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
Although Wednesday served primarily as a preview night, additional food, activities, and programming are expected throughout the weekend. This includes a live table read on Friday and show previews on Thursday, along with a weekend of content celebrating the network’s history.
