The Fanbase Press staff is very excited to be providing several panels for this weekend's WhedonCon 2019. Taking place from June 7-9, 2019, at the Los Angeles Airport Hilton (a.k.a. Hilton LAX), the annual event is a convention celebrating all things in the Whedonverse (defined as encompassing the worlds forming the setting for the television and film works of Joss Whedon — notably the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Firefly, and the film Serenity), designed by fans for fans, with the aim of harnessing the power of fandom to raise money for charities while creating a fun, interactive environment for attendees and guests.

Taking place on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at El Gallo Plaza in Los Angeles, CA, the comic book convention will celebrate all-thing comics and pop culture! The Fanbase Press staff is very excited to be exhibiting once again at Phoenix Fan Fusion 2019, alongside a number of other talented independent creators! Taking place from Thursday, May 23, through Sunday, May 26, 2019, at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, AZ, the comic book convention will celebrate all-thing comics and pop culture! At the convention, we will be meeting fans at the shared Fanbase Press / Tiki Machine booth (1174) on the main floor of the convention center, where you can purchase all of our comics and graphic novels!
The awesome folks at CA-based comic book retailer Collector’s Paradise are extending their Free Comic Book Day festivities into the whole month of May for Free Comic Book MAY, and they have generously invited the Fanbase Press team to join them for a signing at their Pasadena, CA, location on Saturday, May 18, 2019, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Fanbase Press is thrilled to announce that the upcoming trade paperback of its four-issue series, The Sequels, will feature a foreword written by Andre Gower (The Monster Squad, Wolfman’s Got Nards - A Documentary). The team is also revealing the brand new trade paperback cover, featuring the combined artwork of series cover artist Don Aguillo and interior artists/colorists Val Halvorson and Bobby Timony!

Taking place from April 13-14, 2019, at the USC Campus, the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books gathers writers, poets, artists, filmmakers, musicians, and emerging storytellers as the largest event of its kind in the United States. Throughout the weekend, we will be meeting fans at the Fanbase Press booth (Booth 839), where you can purchase all of our comics and graphic novels - AND meet the creators! Plus, we will be sharing a booth with writer Justin Robinson (City of Devils) who will have all of his incredible books available for sale!

Taking place on Friday, March 15, and Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Modesto Junior College's West Campus in Modesto, CA, the event is the nation’s first convention dedicated to highlighting the work of comic book creators, illustrators, and others in the literary and visual arts whose work reflects the influence and celebration of Latino culture! On March 15 and 16 from 11 a.m. to *7 p.m. (*6 p.m. on Saturday), we will be meeting fans at the Fanbase Press booth, where you can purchase all of our comics and graphic novels!
