Dear Fanboy Comics Readers:
The Fanboy Comics Staff is excited to announce a comic book release party for Storm Born, written by Richelle Mead and published by Sea Lion Books! The event will take place ONLINE on Wednesday, June 8th, and will run all day.
As part of the festivities, the creative team behind the comic book, including David Dabel (President), Derek Ruiz (V.P.), Dave Hamann (artist), and Grant Alter (comic writer), will be talking about the brand new release of Storm Born and answering fan questions. The guests will start answering questions at 12:00 p.m. (Central Daylight Time).
As if that wasn't fun enough, the release party will also include a contest for copies of Storm Born: Volume 1 signed by the entire creative team! Attendees who RSVP will receive 25 entries into the prize portion of the contest, as long as you participate in the event.
If you are interested in attending, CLICK HERE to RSVP through the Bitten by Books website.

The Staff of Fanboy Comics would like to wish you a very happy Geek Pride Day! For the website that promises all things geek, we would be remiss if we did not inform our readers about one of the most important days of the year.
Every May 25th, geeks around the world continue an initiative to celebrate and promote geek culture. As many of you most likely know, May 25th was selected as it was the release date of the first Star Wars film in 1977. Tim McEachern in Albany, NY, first organized unconnected events called Geek Pride Festival and/or Geek Pride Day in 1998, and the events spread throughout America and the rest of the world.
Dear Fanboy Comics Readers:

The Staff of Fanboy Comics would like to wish you and yours a very happy International Museum Day! Every year since 1977, International Museum Day is organized worldwide around May 18.
This day is an occasion to raise awareness on how important museums are in the development of society.
ICOM (International Counsel of Museums) Advisory Committee organizes the theme of this event that, given the high number of countries involved, lasts a day, a weekend, a week, or even a month.
Museum and Memory is the theme of International Museum Day 2011.
We encourage you to visit your local museum and enjoy this special day to the fullest!
