The legendary Stan Lee has been quite active in recent months with his company, POW! Entertainment, which develops, creates, and licenses intellectual property for the entertainment industry, with projects including Stan Lee's World of Heroes and Romeo & Juliet: The War, as well as TheRealStanLee.com. Now, Stan "The Man" and POW! Entertainment have teamed up with MKC Entertainment to officially launch POW!er Concerts, a series of superhero-themed concerts that will bring live acts to military bases across the US. Each and every show will benefit military organizations such as the Moral and Welfare programs, The Wounded Warriors Project, and the Semper Fi Fund, among many others.

On behalf of Fanboy Comics, I am both saddened to announce the departure of longtime FBC Creative Director Sam Rhodes and excited to welcome a new Creative Director to the team. After months of negotiations, joining the staff will be director, writer, and producer George Lucas, who has long been eager to join the Fanboy Comics staff.

The FBC staff is very excited to be exhibiting at WonderCon Anaheim next weekend, alongside a number of other talented independent creators! Taking place from March 29-31, at the Anaheim Convention Center, the annual event is a celebration of comic books and pop culture that showcases the exceptional works of talented writers, artists, illustrators, and creators of all pop culture genres. Throughout the weekend, we will be reporting live from the convention floor, providing you with the coolest interviews, commentaries, screening details, and photos!
Fans in attendance will have a chance to stop by the Fanboy Comics booth (SP-52 in the Small Press section) to meet the creators of the graphic novels Something Animal and Identity Thief and to pick up their very own signed copies. Attendees will also be able to purchase the official Fanboy Comics t-shirt, so that they can show their geek pride in style.
