The Fanbase Press staff is very excited to be exhibiting once again at WonderCon 2026, alongside a number of talented independent creators! Taking place from March 27-290, 2026, at the Anaheim Convention Center, the annual event is a celebration of comic books and pop culture that showcases the exceptional works of talented writers, artists, illustrators, and creators of all pop culture genres. Throughout the weekend, we will be meeting fans at the Fanbase Press booth (Small Press SP-79), where you can purchase all of our award-winning comics and graphic novels! The team will also be participating in lots of incredible panels, so be sure to check out the programming and signing schedules below.
Fans in attendance will have a chance to stop by the Fanbase Press booth (SP-79) to pick up all of our comics and graphic novels, including the 2024 Foreword INDIES Book of the Year Award-nominated Ripple Effects: The Deluxe Edition, 2024 GLAAD Media Award-winning Four-Color Heroes, 2023 Eisner and Harvey Awards-nominated Ripple Effects, the 2018 Eisner Award-nominated Quince, the multiple award-winning Quince: The Definitive Bilingual Edition hardcover, the 2022 International Latino Book Award-winning Nuclear Power, and more.

Fanbase Press and its staff and creators will be hosting and participating in a number of thought-provoking panels throughout the weekend:
FRIDAY
7:00 p.m.: What Would Buffy Do? Why We Need Buffy the Vampire Slayer More Than Ever – Later this year, iconic hero Buffy Summers was slated to return in the revival TV series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer: New Sunnydale. Moderated by Bryant Dillon (president, Fanbase Press), this panel—featuring Juliet Landau (actress, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel), Sarah Gailey (writer, The Vampire Slayer, Eat the Rich), Marsia Powers (president/co-founder, Fandom Charities; HellmouthCon), Amy Chase (writer, Fixation, Archie Horror: Welcome to Riverdale), and Don Aguillo (cover artist, Spawn, King Spawn)—will examine the power and endurance of Buffy, how Buffy never truly left pop culture, and why today’s challenges require a return from everyone’s favorite Slayer. SATURDAY
4:30 p.m.: Next-Gen Nerds – What happens when big nerds raise little nerds? Do powers multiply with each new generation? A panel of professional geek and nerd parents—Christy Black (Hero’s Journey Fitness), Todd Stashwick (Picard, VisionQuest), Reynaldo Macias (Three for the Founders), Dinah McClean (Team Click), and Barbra Dillon (Fanbase Press)—discuss how their nerdy jobs, hobbies, and fandoms inform their parenting and help guide them in raising the next generation of physically and emotionally healthy nerds. SUNDAY
12:00 p.m.: Comics as Counter-Narratives: Teaching the History They Tried to Erase – Barbra Dillon (Fanbase Press), John Jennings (Eisner Award–winning creator and NAACP Image Award winner), Tara Madison Avery (Stacked Deck Press), Shane Hawk (Bram Stoker Award nominee), Samuel C. Spitale (How to Win the War on Truth), Justin Tracy (Little Brainstorm), and moderator Lorran Garrison (school psychologist and educator) discuss how comics and graphic novels challenge dominant histories and amplify overlooked voices. They will explore how visual storytelling supports counter-narratives, critical thinking, empathy, and student storytelling in classrooms and communities. Room: 303AB
Indie Creators in Attendance
In addition, you will not want to miss the other indie creators, writers, artists, and publishers who will be exhibiting their work at the convention.
- Craig Miller will be in Artist’s Alley (A-4) with copies of both Star Wars Memories and More Movie Memories available, along with some crew collectibles from Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back. He’ll also be giving a talk, Star Wars Memories: The Early Days of Star Wars, SDCC, and Fandom, on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. in Room 300C.
- Broken Oar Comics will be at Small Press SP-60 again! Nicholas Doan and Bobby Timony will be signing comics all weekend. There will be free Monster Elementary comics, and the brand-new Pray for Death hardcover will be available.
- Writer Michael Barton (The Suicidals) will be in Small Press (Table 6).
- Arthur N. Ebuen (Studio 12-7) will be at Artist’s Alley (Table D-39). To celebrate his new book, Westside: Volume 1, he will have very limited prints of both covers. They’re $5 each or get them FREE: Just show them you’re following the Kickstarter Pre-launch.
- Cartoonist Randy Reynaldo will be at Booth SP-87 under his WCG Comics imprint in Small press. In addition to his full catalog of back issues of his long-running globetrotting action series, Rob Hanes Adventures, he’s debuting the third trade paperback volume that collects the series. Special discounts will be available, along with original art and prints. He’ll also have a preview of upcoming issue 27, where Rob goes to Ukraine in search of a missing U.S. national caught behind the lines.
