Here at Fanbase Press, we strive to provide an outlet for up-and-coming creators to promote and showcase their incredible works. With thousands of creators utilizing crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter and Indiegogo to make those works a reality, we will highlight these talented creators and their noteworthy campaigns through #CrowfundingFridays! Project #1: Cuddles

What it’s about: Cuddles, an all-new crime story, is now live on Kickstarter! Written and lettered by 2019 Platform Comic winner and Ghost City Comic competition finalist Jed McPherson (Deadbeat, The Show) with art by Marco Perugini (Heavy Metal Magazine), and colors by sci-fi and horror aficionado Shan Bennion. Fans won’t want to miss this exclusive 32-page one-shot with awesome bonus materials, including an illustrated prose story, totaling at over 45 pages of content! Cuddles’ life ain’t too difficult. He’s got a cushy job collecting protection money for a local crime boss. But after he’s partnered up with the boss’ son things start to go sideways. First, he finds out that his partner has been skimming off the top and then, even worse, the FBI are hot on their trail. Cuddles quickly finds that he has to play all sides against each other in order to survive.

Project #2: Stars, Hide Your Fire

What it’s about
: A dead-end New England town hosts an ancient, fae threat. Carmen, trapped and helpless in an abandoned factory, just wants to be free, she tells Andrea. And as thanks for her rescue, Carmen offers her eternal life. But this promise of an eternal and exciting future isn’t what it seems, and if Andrea’s friend Dara doesn’t play rescuer herself, Andrea will surely come to regret her strange and deadly bargain.

Project #3: Sensory: Life on the Spectrum

What it’s about
: A comic anthology about living with autism. Life on the Spectrum is a 140-page book featuring work by more than 30 different autistic creators, all telling their stories of how autism affects their lives.
