Paul and Corey Cross the Streams: Season 3, Episode 10 [June! Moon! – ‘Moonstruck’ (1987)]

Paul and Corey Cross the Streams is a bi-monthly podcast in which hosts Paul Pakler and Corey Pepper watch and review streaming content – so you don’t have to!

“By the light…of the silvery moon…your sister June…”

That’s a line from the George Burns’ 1988 vehicle, 18 Again!, which is neither here nor there. The point is: It’s June! At some point during the month, there will be a full moon. And we’ll all fall in love and lose our minds. This week, Paul chose the PERFECT film for this month: Moonstruck (1987). Oscar-winning performances from Cher and Olympia Dukakis (and one of Nicolas Cage’s best) and screenplay by John Patrick Shanley. Moonstruck is a magical musing on love, death, and getting into/out of a rut.

This Month’s Theme: June! Moon!

This Episode’s Focus: Moonstruck (1987)

Host’s Choice: Paul Pakler

Stream on YouTube, Tubi, Pluto TV, Amazon Prime Video; Rent on Google Play Movies & TV, Apple TV, Vudu
