The Fanbase Press staff is very excited to return to ArtNight Pasadena on Friday, October 21, 2016, from 6:00-10:00 p.m. at the Pasadena Public Library! ArtNight is a citywide arts festival in Pasadena, CA, held twice per year, highlighting music, dance, and all forms of visual arts, including comic books.

As part of this year’s ArtNight, the Pasadena Public Library is hosting an author fair in various rooms throughout the building, with one room dedicated to comics and graphic novels, showcasing the works of independent comics writers and artists, as well as their related works. This year, the list of attendees from the comics field includes the Fanbase Press staff, Brandon Easton, Russell Nohelty (Wannabe Press), Christie Shinn (Hora Tora Studios), Molly Knox Ostertag, Madeleine Holly-Rosing (Boston Metaphysical Society), Jose Cabrera, Tanja Bjork, Javier Hernandez, Diallo Jackson, and creators from Olive and the UnderworldHex11, and Humanoids Publishing.

Fans in attendance will have a chance to stop by the Fanbase Press table to learn more about the self-publishing process, as well as graphic novels Penguins vs. Possums, The Arcs, Something Animal, Identity Thief, and the illustrated horror poetry book, Fearworms: Selected Poems, which is sure to be a spooky treat just in time for Halloween. In addition, attendees will have a chance to pre-order our upcoming all-ages graphic novel, Hero Hotel, and to purchase an official Fanbase Press t-shirt.

The Fanbase Press staff will also be conducting interviews with the creators on hand, so stay tuned to the Fanbase Press website for post-event coverage!

Everyone at Fanbase Press is greatly looking forward to ArtNight Pasadena, and we hope to see you there!
