The amazing folks at CA-based comic book retailer Nostalgic Comic Shop have generously invited Fanbase Press and Nuclear Power co-creator Erica Harrell to join them – alongside talented creators Johnny Parker II, Javier Hernandez, Emily Mata, and Valeria Ontiveros – for a Free Comic Book Day signing at their San Gabriel location on Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 12 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Fans in attendance will have a chance to stop by the Fanbase Press table to purchase the publisher’s award-winning comics and graphic novels, including the 2024 GLAAD Media Award-winning Four-Color Heroes, 2023 Eisner and Harvey Award-nominated Ripple Effects, 2018 Eisner Award-nominated Quince, the 2020 IPPY Award-winning Quince: The Definitive Bilingual Edition hardcover, the 2022 International Latino Book Award-winning Nuclear Power, and much more.

CREATORS, ASSEMBLE! CHARITY RAFFLE
The wonderful team at non-profit organization Creators, Assemble! will be hosting a charity raffle at Knowhere Games & Comics (125 Vallecitos de Oro, Ste. J, San Marcos, CA), to raise funding for their LGBTQIA+ book club and innovative art lessons for kids to learn about marginalized artists. Fanbase Press was honored to donate copies of its GLAAD Media Award-winning Four-Color Heroes, signed by writer/artist Richard Fairgray.
