DW S7E6Christmas day, and it can mean only one thing—a magical, old man travels from far away to give us a wonderful, new present. This year's Doctor Who Christmas episode, “The Snowmen,” saw some changes for the last of the Time Lords.

SW A Sunny Day in the VoidI'm not even going to ask, because I already know the answer. You all missed me, I get it. It's been a few weeks without your old buddy Sean and his Clone Wars ramblings, and I'm sure you've all been wondering where the heck I've been!

Oh, you weren't? Well, alright then. Let's carry on, shall we?

Husbands S2Aside from watching DBZ Abridged and Red vs. Blue—which are both enjoyable experiences—I haven’t seen many online series, but I must admit that this one is very unusual.  I’m not saying that it is a bad series, but it is very different than anything else I’ve watched, yet similar in many ways.  Despite being on the Internet and not broadcast on a major television network, it is very much like other situational comedies, with just a lesser broadcast time and audience.  For adventurous enjoyment, check the series out at www.husbandstheseries.com.

CW A Test of StrengthAfter two viewings, I'm still not really sure how I feel about this episode, but it's definitely leaning more towards the negative. So, for now, let's focus on the positives of "A Test of Strength," of which there is a major one.

David Tennant. David Tennant. David Tennant!

The result of a military experiment gone horribly wrong, Vincent Keller is a highly adaptable man with medical knowledge and a keen interest in keeping himself off the grid.  Catherine Chandler, a brilliant NYPD detective, encounters Keller while investigating one of her crimes and finds out that the two of them have a shared history from the night her mother died.  Determined to find out the truth about things, Catherine is often at odds with Keller’s desire to remain unknown to the government, as well as an overwhelming attractiveness between the two that sparks a lot of tension.  The show airs on Thursdays at 9:00 p.m. (Eastern) on The CW.

CW The Gathering slideThis week's episode of The Clone Wars tackles what I can only assume is the equivalent to Christmas Day for a Jedi Youngling: procuring a crystal to use in the construction of your very own lightsaber. A greater day for a Youngling I can not imagine . . .

A global blackout has caused all electronics to stop working, including the smallest of devices, such as batteries, without explanation.  Fifteen years later, the survivors of a small family find themselves in the middle of a conflict with a local warlord, bent on finding out why all of the lights went out in Georgia (and other places).  Both sides are racing to find out how the world changed, and a secret society seems to know the answers to questions that no one else had thought to ask. The show airs on Mondays at 10:00 p.m. (Eastern) on NBC.

CW Tipping PointsWell, we've finally reached the conclusion of the Onderon Arc, or as I've dubbed it, "The Robes Arc," and I can honestly say it was a well-executed and worthy finale.

CW The Soft WarWe're back this week with a more action-oriented installment of The Clone Wars and probably my favorite episode so far of the Onderon arc.  I really dug the direction they took with the opening, having the Rebels jump into action against the Separatist Droids patrolling the streets, making themselves known to the town folk. The gigantic holograph was a neat effect, allowing Steela to broadcast herself around various points in the town.
