Hello, fellow Amazons, Manazons, and Glamazons! Wonder Woman Wednesday became Wonder Woman Tuesday as Lynda Carter received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday, April 3, at 11:30 a.m. in Los Angeles.

Of course, I needn’t remind you that Lynda is the most iconic version of Wonder Woman that I believe we have ever had, and that is how most people know her and how most people know Wonder Woman. Of course, there’s more to Lynda than that. She’s an actress, model, beauty queen, award-winning voice-over actress, and talented jazz singer! (I’ve seen her twice!) I think it’s easy to agree that it was Lynda who really brought the character to life, giving us a loving, compassionate Wonder Woman with a great heart, undeniable beauty, and feminine strength.

I’m so glad that Lynda has been on the spotlight and part of the whole Wonder Woman resurgence with Gal Gadot’s turn in the feature film. But could you imagine the hoopla without her? Heaven forfend!

Fans gathered early on April 3rd to send their well wishes to their favorite icon. I made a couple of new Wonder friends in two nice guys named Jesse and Kim; they had only been there since 7:30 a.m.! We chatted about loving Lynda and how cool it would be if they worked her into the Wonder Woman sequel. I have faith in Patty Jenkins to cook up something cool. I’m sure to see them at the next exciting Wonder Woman event!

Now that Lynda has her much-deserved star, I’ll be happy to come and visit it to make sure it’s being kept clean, sparkling, and gorgeous! Just like Lynda herself!

Congratulations, Lynda Carter! You’re a wonder, Wonder Woman!
