Greetings, fellow Amazons!  This week’s topic is on a super cool, if not macabre, Wonder Woman collectible from toy maker Mighty Jaxx.

The trophy of which I speak is in the form of an adorable, 3-inch Wonder Woman figurine . . . an adorable 3-inch Wonder Woman with half of her skeleton exposed! Isn’t that sick? Isn’t that SICK! It’s so cool!

Wonder Woman is number two as part of Mighty Jaxx Xxray Justice League League Series. The other two currently available are Superman and Batman (naturally). Not only do I love the figures, the packaging is amazing, perfect for leaving in the box to display, as it is transparent mostly with graphic opaque prints of the figures on the side. Each diminutive figure is delightfully detailed. Very well sculpted and the adorable cartoonish faces are a nice juxtaposition to the goriness of having their organs exposed.

Apparently, Green Lantern is on the way. Can Flash and Aquaman be far behind? I think they are doing the Joker, too!

If you’re reading this article, you perhaps have had an ad from Mighty Jaxx toy company pop up in your newsfeed. Their toys are wonderfully designed and deliciously demented. The twisted animal balloons and rubber duckies, both with visible skeletons, are two of my personal favorites.

According to their website, “Based in Singapore and Shanghai, Mighty Jaxx is an award-winning independent studio focusing on 3D design for art collectibles. Since their inception in 2012, they have produced 150+ designs and delivered thousands of products to collectors in over 50 countries. Their limited edition items are designed in collaboration with world renowned artists worldwide. They work with a variety of international partners such as DC Comics, New Balance and Playboy to push the boundaries of the Designer and Art toys world, empowering new collectors with their range of exciting collectibles!”

As one of the lesser expected collectibles to come my way, I love the line for the uniqueness. And it is a perfect hybrid of two of my passions, comics and horror. I love this line and definitely recommend it to any collector. (I would love if they could do a Bones ‘N Guts Barbie!)

I guess that wraps it up for this week. See you here next Wednesday. As always, be sure to check out the “I Am Wonder Fan” page on Facebook.
