Here at Fanbase Press, we strive to provide an outlet for up-and-coming creators to promote and showcase their incredible works. With thousands of creators utilizing crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter and Indiegogo to make those works a reality, we will highlight these talented creators and their noteworthy campaigns through #CrowfundingFridays! We hope that you will join us in giving these projects a moment of your time (and possibly your support)!
Project #1: Everything Is Going Wrong: A Comic Anthology on Punk and Mental Illness
What it’s about: Editors Mark Bouchard and Megan Rae sought to shine a light on the intersection of punk and mental illness in order to contribute to the destigmatization of the latter while highlighting the work done by the punk community. EiGW accomplishes this by offering nearly 30 autobio pieces, fictional stories, and firsthand accounts. All proceeds from this project will be donated to The Trevor Project and MusiCares.
The coolest backer reward: A rad enamel pin from artist Marie Enger!

Project #2: The Maroon Volume 1: The Cursed Shadow
What it’s about: Collecting the first six issues of The Maroon into one 172-page volume, the Kickstarter goal is to fund the printing of the first run. There are many awesome incentives, and every contributor gets mentioned in the final trade!
The coolest backer reward: One of the coolest rewards is the opportunity to become a fully developed character for a future installment of the series!

Project #3: Kaneesha
What it’s about: Kaneesha is a graphic novel about a young girl from Gary, Indiana, whose brother is killed by the police. Along her journey for justice, she must make some hard choices between using violence or nonviolent protest to accomplish her goals.
The coolest backer reward: The coolest backer reward, in my opinion, is the RESIST T-Shirt that we designed. You get that a physical and digital copy of the book for $40.
