Here at Fanbase Press, we strive to provide an outlet for up-and-coming creators to promote and showcase their incredible works. With thousands of creators utilizing crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter and Indiegogo to make those works a reality, we will highlight these talented creators and their noteworthy campaigns through #CrowfundingFridays! We hope that you will join us in giving these projects a moment of your time (and possibly your support).
Project #1: Shards of Reflection
What it’s about: In a futuristic world, Mina has become a vampire and she doesn’t know how. All the memories of her victims mix with her own, leaving her in a fog of uncertainty. Finding the vampire who turned her is the key, but how can she do that when she can’t tell past from present or her life from her victims?
Created by Kel McDonald, Shards of Reflection is the fifth book in The City Between series, an urban fantasy series set in a futuristic world.
In the futuristic city of New Mahtlaw, technology has made the supernatural hard to hide. The world knows werewolves are real but their rarity makes them an oddity not a threat. But more lies out there trying to stay in the shadows.

Project #2: What You Took
What it’s about: What You Took is an all-new, 100-page horror story by Richard Fairgray about the things you lose in a break up. Not just the stuff you left, but the pieces of you they stripped you of while you were together.
Worse yet, this explores all the other missing parts, like the things you gave up willingly to be lovable in the first place.
Like the other books in this line, What You Took is written to press against the membrane, to find that hyper specific but somehow universal dread that comes from being alive, wanting love and hoping to not have to change too much to get it.

Project #3: Kate Carter Adventures: Volume 1
What it’s about: Ever since seeing the Cliff Hanger films as a kid, Kate Carter has had two loves: archaeology, and action/adventure movies about archaeologists. Torn between the two, she eventually chose to pursue a career in Hollywood as a stunt woman—but she often dreamed about what might have been.
This trade collects the first 3 issues which tell the story of Kate’s first adventure hunting for the remains of Alexander the Great.

Project #4: Stripwire Presents
What it’s about: This collection delves into the strip archive of Tripwire and represents a selection of strips taken from the regular Stripwire section which kicked off back in 2007. Work from the likes of Roger Langridge, Declan Shalvey, Frazer Irving, Kody Chamberlain, and more, plus a few strips which are seeing the light of day for the first time just as a fun bonus here. There will be a full-color Sherlock Holmes and The Empire Builders short which has only been seen in the UK’s Shift magazine before.

The sons of Thor, Magni and Modi, have survived and must embrace their new destinies in an all-new, post-Ragnarok 9 Realms. In this new era, familiar faces and new ones will test the duo as they venture out into this strange new time.
Magni the Mighty #2 is a 30-page, full-color Norse mythology fantasy comic created by Devin Arscott, David Monge Bautista, Ibrahim Aydin, and Lettersquids.
