Here at Fanbase Press, we strive to provide an outlet for up-and-coming creators to promote and showcase their incredible works. With thousands of creators utilizing crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter and Indiegogo to make those works a reality, we will highlight these talented creators and their noteworthy campaigns through #CrowfundingFridays! We hope that you will join us in giving these projects a moment of your time (and possibly your support).

Project #5: The Green Archer
What it’s about: A 150-page epic comic anthology based on the 1923 novel by Edgar Wallace, whose best-selling adventure once inspired a wildly popular movie serial.
Co-written by Benjamin Liska (The Press Guardian & The Clock: 1942) and Dr. Anjuli Shere (Johnny Dollar), with art by Dan Butcher (Vanguard), Marc Oliver (Necropolis), Matt Plog (Ghoul Scouts), and Lianna Weidle (Bad Wages), The Green Archer spans centuries of myth, folklore, and action. From the Scottish Witch Trials to WWII Nazi conspiracies, from cyber hackers to the undead hordes of 2100, each Green Archer incarnation must rise to defend Garre Castle—and Scotland itself!

Project #6: Hallowzine.ink III
What it’s about: Last year, Hallowzine.ink II was unleashed as a full-color 48 page zine roaming the earth in search of lost souls. Now, a year later, Hallowzine.ink III lies within the earth, waiting to be awakened.
Night of the Living Dead, Carnival of Souls, Frankenstein, Dracula, The Creature from the Black Lagoon—even the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles—all of these things have one thing in common, which is that they were originally black and white! The black-and-white medium has endured because it lets the reader use a little bit more of their imagination in how the artwork looks—and horror and humor thrive on imagination.
