Here at Fanbase Press, we strive to provide an outlet for up-and-coming creators to promote and showcase their incredible works. With thousands of creators utilizing crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter and Indiegogo to make those works a reality, we will highlight these talented creators and their noteworthy campaigns through #CrowfundingFridays! We hope that you will join us in giving these projects a moment of your time (and possibly your support).

Project #1: Tripwire Magazine Digital Editions 2020-2025

What it’s about: Tripwire returned as a print magazine in 2020 when COVID-19 hit the world. But it did well enough that we did two further once-a-year magazines and then switched to a print quarterly.

This campaign is designed to offer digital versions of the comeback issues published since 2020, offering readers the chance to fill in any gaps digitally. So we have featured: Flash, Hellboy, Fantastic Four, Grendel, Indiana Jones, Sandman, Doctor Who , Brubaker and Phillips and Daredevil. The campaign also offers our 224 page 30th anniversary book from back in 2022.

The Press Guardian KS 600

Project #2: The Press Guardian & Clock

What it’s about
: Published by the family owned and operated Green Archer Comics, co-written by brothers Allan and Benn Liska, and featuring artwork by Dan Butcher (Vanguard), The Press Guardian & Clock plucks two Golden Age pulp heroes from the public domain and brings them together for the very first time, with a modern twist.

When The Clock uncovers a dangerous Nazi plot targeting America, his investigation leads him to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania—home of The Press Guardian, defender of truth and freedom. Together, these two heroes team up to stop the Nazis’ plans in a pulse-pounding, action-packed adventure full of intrigue, daring heroics, and plenty of Nazi punching in classic pulp comic style!

High Street Hellcats 600

Project #3: High Street Hellcats

What it’s about
: The setting is London in the 1920s, but not the high society London we are used to seeing. Rather, it’s the East End: street level, Cockney London, with a long and storied tradition of pickpocketing and highway robbery!

Meet the High Street Hellcats: a gang of women who run these streets: shoplifting, grifting, swindling, and partying their way through London – and punching a few constables along the way.

Whether they’re pulling off a heist in a high-end jewelry shop, posing as housemaids to fleece a country manor, or making a splash on the nightclub scene, this girl gang is roaring into the new century at full throttle. They’re ready to make their own destiny – and have fun doing it!

Think Peaky Blinders, but with a multicultural, gender-inclusive, all-sexual-identities vibe!
