Here at Fanbase Press, we strive to provide an outlet for up-and-coming creators to promote and showcase their incredible works. With thousands of creators utilizing crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter and Indiegogo to make those works a reality, we will highlight these talented creators and their noteworthy campaigns through #CrowfundingFridays! We hope that you will join us in giving these projects a moment of your time (and possibly your support)!
Project #1: For Molly #1-4
What it’s about: Written by Gabe Cheng with art by Benjamin Sawyer, For Molly is about trust, abandonment, and the type of bond that can only form between a human and a dog. It has feral gangs of talking dogs, rogue cops wielding swords, and dangerous human cultists living off-the-grid in the forest. But at the center are two characters with a lot of baggage that realize they need each other to survive.

Project #2: House of Fear: Halloween Special
What it’s about: This issue of House of Fear features 64 pages of monster fighting action, as kids fight creepy moths, an angry horde of jack-o-lanterns, elephantmen from another world, and a very annoyed dragon. This issue features 3 all-new, stand-alone, scary stories for kids. It’s Goosebumps meets Tales from the Crypt!
The coolest backer reward: Our D&D-inspired variant cover by Jethro Morales features Bria, a middle-school girl who loves role-playing and cosplay…until she’s mistaken for a real barbarian and must save her neighborhood from a fire-breathing dragon.

Project #3: Hellbound Slant 6 #2
What it’s about: Hellbound Slant 6 is a classic pulp grindhouse horror comic straight out of the 1970s. It’s got a muscle car, a kick-ass babe, lots of guns, booze, demons, and destruction.
The coolest backer reward: The “SGURGLURP” pillow. Because who wouldn’t want to nap with that image next to their face?
