While this will be a very different year than normal, the Fanbase Press staff is very excited about the virtual celebration of San Diego Comic-Con 2020 in for the form of Comic-Con@Home! This year, Travis Lakata of Fanbase Press’ Geeky Parent Guide is taking a look at some of the events you and your kids can look forward to with our very own Geeky Parent Guide to San Diego Comic-Con 2020. SDCC is a fantastic opportunity to get amazing announcements for upcoming TV shows, movie trailers, and the many creations from the comic book world. 32nd Annual Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards Ceremony – Live Tweet Coverage

Described by many as the “Oscars” of the comics industry, the Eisner Awards honor comics creators and their works in 31 categories. 

This virtual version of the ceremony will be hosted by Phil LaMarr (Samurai Jack, Superman: Red Son, Justice League). Additionally, Sergio Aragonés (Groo the Wanderer, MAD Magazine) will announce this year’s Eisner Hall of Fame inductees and Ruth Clampett (Encore, Unforgiven) will present the 2020 Bob Clampett Humanitarian Award recipients.
