With the postponement of Free Comic Book Day this year, comics creators Russell Nohelty (publisher, Wannabe Press) and Neo Edmund (writer, Red Riding, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) are endeavoring to bring a bit of positivity to the comics community while supporting and promoting comics creators. The two collaborators recently announced the creation of ALT Free Comic Days (www.altfcd.com) which is a two-day event on Friday, May 1, and Saturday, May 2, 2020, featuring panels with Marv Wolfman (co-creator of The Teen Titans), Kevin Eastman (co-creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), and the team behind Drawing Blood, Richard Starkings (creator of Elephantmen), Sandy Carpenter (Storm King Comics), and more.
Alt Free Comic Days will stream panels to Facebook, Twitter, Twitch, and YouTube, along with providing dozens of free digital comics from some of the world’s best creators. Creators and comic book fans are encouraged to visit www.altfcd.com to register (FOR FREE!).
Plus, be sure to join the Alt FCD Facebook group, where fans can access free comics and watch live panels and AMAs (Ask Me Anything) from comics creators on both days of the event. All of the free comics will ONLY be available on May 1st and 2nd, so don’t miss out on the opportunity.
