At Star Wars Celebration 2015, Fanboy Comics' Barbra Dillon talks with Desma Deitz of UNICEF about the organization's partnership with Disney and Lucasfilm for Star Wars: Force for Change, a charitable initiative dedicated to finding creative solutions to some of the worlds' biggest challenges.  Force for Change (#ForceforChange) empowers our youth to be global forces for change in their own lives and for children around the world.

The following is an interview with Tiffany Tang, the creator and writer of the poetry collection, Creepy Little Death Poems. There’s a difference between what your characters care about and what your audience cares about. This is initially a hard disconnect to grasp, and many beginning writers fall victim to it. Imagine your main character has a younger sibling, but this sibling has never been onscreen. Sure, your character cares about this person more than life itself, but to your audience, this is just some asshole they’ve never seen before, stopping their awesome favorite character from being cool.
