#CrowdfundingFridays: ‘Gateway City: Volume 1’ and ‘Knight in the Snake Pit #2’

Here at Fanbase Press, we strive to provide an outlet for up-and-coming creators to promote and showcase their incredible works. With thousands of creators utilizing crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter and Indiegogo to make those works a reality, we will highlight these talented creators and their noteworthy campaigns through #CrowfundingFridays! We hope that you will join us in giving these projects a moment of your time (and possibly your support)!

Project #1: Gateway City, Volume 1
What it’s about: Gateway City, Vol. 1 collects the first four issues of the sci-fi noir comic re-edited by John Freeman and with a foreword by Roy Thomas. Set in St. Louis during the roaring ’20s, a private investigator discovers that it’s more than just hooch being smuggled into the Rome of the West.
The coolest backer reward: The Friendly 10 Club – The book, exclusive bookplate, two A5 character sketches, and an A4 Alien Gangster Mugshot

Project #2: Knight in the Snake Pit #2
What it’s about: This is for the printing of the second issue of Knight In The Snake Pit, which is a story where the main character is stuck in two worlds, jumping back and forth at random. One world is 1940’s[sic] Los Angeles, where he’s a patient at a mental hospital and the other world is a medieval fantasy world, where he’s being begged by a king to save his daughter and his kingdom from an impending invasion that could happen at any moment.
The coolest backer reward: Pledge $40 or more – Original Sketch – Digital Copy of Issue 1 and 2 and an original quick sketch from Artist Marc Olivent with hard copy of issue 2 and a print of choice from either issue 1 or 2, printed on 11×17 paper.
