#CrowdfundingFridays: ‘Finding Molly: An Adventure in Catsitting’ and ‘Last Driver’

Here at Fanbase Press, we strive to provide an outlet for up-and-coming creators to promote and showcase their incredible works. With thousands of creators utilizing crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter and Indiegogo to make those works a reality, we will highlight these talented creators and their noteworthy campaigns through #CrowfundingFridays! We hope that you will join us in giving these projects a moment of your time (and possibly your support)!

FindingMolly 317

Project #1: Finding Molly: An Adventure in Catsitting
What it’s about: A graphic novel from an all-female team about Molly Sanchez-Talebi, a snarky catsitter and artist looking for her big break in LA.
The coolest backer reward: If we can include a stretch goal reward, we’re offering a limited edition bookplate of Molly drawn by Paper Girls artist Cliff Chiang once we get to $15k. If not, we’re offering the book + the Emet Comics sampler, which includes first and second issues of three series by female creators, including The Wendy Project drawn by Archie artist Veronica Fish.

LastDriver 8c5

Project #2: Last Driver
What it’s about: Created by Shaky Kane and C.S. Baker of UK-based publisher Dead Canary Comics, Last Driver is an action-packed, fun-filled book of danger, witty one-liners, and sublime art. In a world riddled with death, mayhem, and giant monsters, meet Frank Sudden, a no-nonsense thrill seeker who’s just trying to enjoy life… despite the end of the world! Nothing but good vibes, ambitious dreaming and nail-biting driving fill Frank’s head, but the world has other ideas and fate throws obstacles in the road.
The coolest backer reward: For a $29 pledge, you will receive a signed copy of the graphic novel, a signed copy of Dead Canary Comics’ Reddin, and a digital copy of Last Driver.
