For the latest edition of Geeks Care: How You Can Help, the Fanbase Press staff would like to share news about an upcoming comic book signing at Comics Factory in Pasadena, CA, as part of the shop's Halloween ComicsFest 2017!  Taking place on Saturday, October 28, 2017, from 12 - 7 p.m., the event will feature writer Jacob Semahn (#1 with a BulletGoners) who will be signing copies of his comics (published by Image Comics) from 12 - 4 p.m. with all proceeds benefiting the hurricane victims of Puerto Rico and those affected by the fires in Northern California.

Each year, the Alzheimer's Association hosts The Longest Day, a team event that raises funds and awareness for the organization. This year, Caves will join Saving Throw for a 24-hour role-playing game fundraising event, with the proceeds from the event going to the Alzheimer's Association. For the latest edition of Geeks Care: How You Can Help, the Fanbase Press staff would like to share a recent announcement from the world-famous Laugh Factory in Los Angeles, CA.  Created in 1984 by Laugh Factory owner Jamie Masada, the Laugh Factory Comedy Camp has helped over a thousand children in need to build self-confidence by developing their humor and creativity through the healing power of laughter. The Laugh Factory will hold tryouts for its 33rd annual Laugh Factory Comedy Camp on June 17, 2017, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tryouts are open to disadvantaged children from lower income neighborhoods who are between 9 & 16 years of age.
