#CrowdfundingFridays: ‘Cremisi #3,’ ‘Cadavers: World Gone to Hell,’ and ‘The World of Tomorrow #1’

Here at Fanbase Press, we strive to provide an outlet for up-and-coming creators to promote and showcase their incredible works. With thousands of creators utilizing crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter and Indiegogo to make those works a reality, we will highlight these talented creators and their noteworthy campaigns through #CrowfundingFridays! We hope that you will join us in giving these projects a moment of your time (and possibly your support)!

Project #1: Cremisi #3
What it’s about: After discovering the aftermath of a pirate raid, Shay and Alice decide to investigate a derelict freighter. Hoping to dredge up trinkets and treasures, their discoveries yield only questions.
The coolest backer reward: At just $30, backers get issue 1 with a cover by Ryan Kincaid, Jeremy Clark, and Hedwin Zaldivar, along with issue 2 featuring its standard cover, and issue 3 featuring a Kickstarter-exclusive cover.

Project #2: Cadavers: World Gone to Hell
What it’s about: A 130-page collection of stories by some of the most popular and talented indie writers and artists working today. Each story is a complete tale in its own right – a unique vision from the creators – but read as a whole, all form a connected, epic tale. Each story is set in a consecutive month of the year – the year in which the world falls apart and society burns.
The coolest backer reward: Copy of the book signed by all 18 creators (involving editor Matt Hardy traveling to 3 countries to get the signatures) or original art from the book. (Matt would prefer you pledged for the latter – as he really doesn’t fancy all that traveling.)

Project #3
: The World of Tomorrow #1
What it’s about: The World of Tomorrow is an off-the-wall comedy series set in 1950s Hollywood, following Craig Barstow, the burned-out lead actor on the FORMERLY top-rated sci-fi show on television, The World of Tomorrow, but both Craig AND the show are a little past their prime. Perpetually drunk and indebted to the mob for unpaid gambling dues, Craig finds out the show is being cancelled and he’s out of a job. When the mob gets wind of this, they attempt to rub him out, but this hit job doesn’t go as planned and leaves Craig believing that he actually IS the TV show’s heroic main character: Captain Cal Armstrong. Now, with the mob on his tail and his tyrannical studio boss at his throat, Craig needs to find a way to save his sanity, keep his show on the air, AND save his girlfriend all before the show’s 5 p.m. final broadcast!
