#CrowdfundingFridays: ‘Robyn #4,’ ‘Neon Spring #0,’ ‘ImaginHero,’ and ‘Producing the End of the World’

Here at Fanbase Press, we strive to provide an outlet for up-and-coming creators to promote and showcase their incredible works. With thousands of creators utilizing crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter and Indiegogo to make those works a reality, we will highlight these talented creators and their noteworthy campaigns through #CrowfundingFridays! We hope that you will join us in giving these projects a moment of your time (and possibly your support)!

Project #2: Neon Spring #0

What it’s about
: In a distant future, a group of mercenaries, named Skull Squad, and a car fitted with a superintelligent A.I., named Mother, stalk the city taking brains. Mother lobotomizes people, extracts their brain and refits them with a device to control their body. Skull Squad’s job is to ensure the targets get in the car while simultaneously making sure Mother does not get out. After a brain-picking mission goes astray, Skull Squad finds Zuzu, an apparent sexbot, to help lure their target into the car. Their attempt to salvage the mission is a success, but Zuzu is not what she seems and with her comes the specter of the Neon Spring.

Project #3: ImaginHero

What it’s about
: For ages 8+, Imaginhero is like Pokémon for positive mental health. The game uses superhero narratives to teach healthy emotional responses to stressful situations. The gameplay is designed to help develop emotional intelligence and empathy. Each superpower is based on an underlying visualization that promotes positive thinking, and each villain represents an unhealthy response to an overwhelming emotion. It is based on widely-used, well-evidenced, therapeutic approaches used in cognitive behavioral therapy. As part of our pre-order sale, we’re donating decks to children in foster care. There are over 420,000 children in foster care in this country, and 25% of them experience PTSD. This is a rate comparable to that of U.S. war veterans.

Each story explores a different post-apocalyptic scenario, with focus ranging from the most intimate and human moments to the most epic and awe-inspiring cataclysmic destruction.
