Quick recap: On Earth That Was, WashBot led the crew to the Midwestern headquarters of Washburne Industries. Unfortunately for them, they’re not the only ones from their side of the ‘Verse that have discovered the Earth That Was. While most of the crew opted to make a run for it, Zoë takes a stand to protect the Washburne legacy.

Quick recap so far: Seeking a reprieve and some medical help, Zoë and her crew arrive at the doorstep of one Simon Tam and Kaylee. (They have kids!) Despite Zoë’s misgivings, Simon’s sleuthing about the mysterious cargo gets them the wrong kind of notice. Meanwhile, Emma and Lu have run off with the Blue Sun contraband.

Previously on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Buffy and the Scoobies dove into a portal after Willow, only to find themselves in a very different universe (They have shrimp!), albeit retro world. While they make it back okay, it would seem that some issues linger longer than a trans-dimensional jaunt can fix.

Quick recap: Trouble seems to hound Mal, and no sooner was he back on Serenity that the crew fell on some bad luck. With no choice left to them, the Serenity plunged into the portal before Jayne blew it up behind them, leaving the rest of the gang behind while the Serenity made an emergency landing on a strangely familiar planet with hostile natives.

Quick recap so far: New day, new troubles. As always, human trafficking never goes well, and Zoë and her crew have picked up a mysterious young woman that Blue Sun wants back desperately, for some reason. Seeking a doctor that might be sympathetic to their cause, they make landfall on the homestead of Simon Tam and Kaylee Frye.

Previously on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, in a high school battle for the ages, Faith put an end to Vamp Xander. A grief-stricken Willow used her powers to open a portal into another universe, hoping to find Xander elsewhere, causing everyone but Faith and Robin to follow her into a strange, new(?) world…

Synopsis: Bart Bartson is probably in the last place he wants to be: a foster home run by an oppressive tyrant and terrorized by the resident bully. But a fateful encounter with a toy T-rex may just change his life and outlook on life.

Quick recap: Well, we’ve found Mal. He’s apparently a hermit on a nowhere rock, with some major ghosts haunting him; however, what’s lost can always be found, and Mal probably isn’t hard to find. Oh, and he has a new furry friend.

Quick recap: With the McGuires and associates kept busy by Lancelot and a dragon, Galahad retrieved the Holy Grail and galloped off into the sunset. Duncan and Co., atop a newly befriended dragon (naturally), were in hot pursuit of Galahad as he raced back to deliver the Holy Grail to Arthur.

Quick recap so far: We’re twenty years into the future with Zoë having all sorts of old troubles mixed in with some new ones. While the faces around her are mostly different, the jobs and the scrimmages seem familiar, but things are always different when you’re running with your young-adult daughter who’s got every bit of your stubbornness and her father’s dreaminess.
