Let me be one of the few to admit that I didn’t really like Rogue One: A Star Wars Story the first time I saw it in theaters.  It appears everyone enjoyed it more than Star Wars: The Force Awakens, except me.  

After last month’s teaser trailer premiere, Lara Craft is officially back on paper in Dark Horse Comics’ Tomb Raider: Survivor’s Crusade. Having been missed from the comic book world since January, we saw a brief glimpse of Lara via a resurrection of her older comics from the early 2000s just last month. But, so long as new issues keep coming until the new Tomb Raider movie this March, I’ll be a happy explorer.

Well, it looks like I’ve done it again.  I’ve let my life get the best of me, and I missed the opportunity to review an issue for IDW Publishing’s ongoing comic book series for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  

Why do I enjoy the Tomb Raider franchise so much?  I want to say it’s because it reminds me of my grandfather, but it’s really thanks to lessons learned from Lara Croft.  Although, I’m not a fan of Lara in the way that most people are fans of hers, but we’ll get to that…

Guys, what happened?  I feel like my past is all mixed up—because it is!

Last month, I feel as if I was writing about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles all the time!  Between TMNT Ongoing, TMNT Universe, and TMNT Dimension X, I want to say I wrote about my favorite mutant superheroes (Are the any other mutant superheroes, though?) every week for more than the month of August.  But September has been quite extinct of New York’s only pizza-loving reptiles. 

With Star Wars: The Last Jedi about to hit theaters in only a few short months, Star Wars: The Force Awakens has been reappearing all over the place.  From Force Friday to personalized Apple Store sessions, everyone wants a piece of the franchise from a galaxy far, far away.  That includes IDW Publishing’s latest comic book series, Star Wars Adventures.
