I’m not entirely sure how I feel about the ending to IPTBG, but, without giving too much away, I suppose it’s in keeping with the tone of the rest of the comic. It’s been an exciting adventure all the way through and very different from a lot of other superhero comics. I’ll be sad to see it go.

Honestly, at this point, there’s not a lot left to say about the comic. I’ve said most of it already in my previous reviews. The artwork is great, the story is unique, and the way they develop it keeps you constantly interested and engaged over the course of the 6-issue arc. You never know where things are going to go next, right up to the very end. The characters are also a lot of fun. Somehow, Frank remains sympathetic, even identifiable, despite the fact that he kills a whole lot of people, right from the start.

All in all, this is a great comic and worth checking out from the beginning. There are a lot of superhero comics out there, and they can honestly get kind of tiring after a while. So, it’s a bit of a breath of fresh air to see someone completely and unabashedly play the bad guy.
