Well, "Back to the Future Day" may have come and gone, and no, we don't have flying hoverboards yet, but we did get a 4-part Back to the Future comic book series from IDW Publishing that will continue well into the future! 2016 to be exact. And, with Issue #2 just being released, these "untold tales and alternate timelines" are just getting started.
Last month was major for the team behind our ongoing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic book series. After the success of 50 crime-fighting issues, some major changes took place in the TMNT universe. The Shredder is dead. That's right. The feud between Splinter and Shred-head is over. Our heroes are now the leaders of The Foot Clan, and to make things even better, Donatello is back! As we celebrate 50 issues, it doesn't get any better than that, am I right?
This coming Wednesday is a big day. No, I'm not talking about your average Hump Day, I'm talking about Back to the Future Day! In Back to the Future II, October 21st, 2015, is the day Doc Brown takes Marty into the future to try and save his kids. And, that day has finally arrived . . . in the present!
50, huh? No, that's not how old I am. Nor is that my IQ (although, I fully admit to never having been tested . . . ). No, that's how many issues the ongoing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle series has been going on for. 50 issues!
I’ve been looking for something different to read. Something new! Something silly . . .
We come to the end of yet another Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle miniseries. This time, we have followed Casey Jones and April O’Neil through a rather extravagant adventure, all for the sake of a mysterious scroll, originally discovered in the ongoing TMNT storyline.
Each month, Fanboy Comics Contributor Joshua Desjardins (a.k.a. Stagedork83) receives new and exciting subscription boxes from Marvel Collector Corps, and the FBC readers have a chance to live vicariously through the deliveries as he captures the thrilling unboxing process on video!

Keep watching for Joshua’s newest videos every other month!
Well, that was weird. Symbolic. But, weird.
Naturally, I'm talking about the newest issue for the latest TMNT miniseries, Casey & April. If you recall from the ongoing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles storyline, April O'Neil has discovered an old scroll that could have something to do with the past, present, and future of our favorite pizza-loving heroes. Thus, April has set out on an adventure out west with Casey Jones. But, after April and Casey separate in search for different clues, Casey is quick to realize that they have both been tricked and led astray. If only he can make it in time to save April before it's too late . . .
I did NOT see that coming!
At first, I must admit that last month's issue for the ongoing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle series was a little redundant. We began in the middle of a battle between our heroes and a swarm of Baxter Stockman's mousers and flyborgs. But, we also left our pizza-loving friends in practically the same battle, this time in a different environment and with more friends to help.
Each month, Fanboy Comics Contributor Joshua Desjardins (a.k.a. Stagedork83) receives new and exciting subscription boxes from Loot Crate, and the FBC readers have a chance to live vicariously through the deliveries as he captures the thrilling unboxing process on video!
June's LootCrate is anything "Cyber" related, so you can imagine Fanboy Comics Contributor Joshua Desjardins' (a.k.a. @Stagedork83) exCYBERment when he found out what was inside! Watch him discover items from the ultimate Transformer, Terminator, Borderlands, and more!
