They’re baaaaaack!  No. I’m not talking about The Walking Dead (although February can’t come soon enough . . .). So, who you gonna call instead?  That’s right! The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, of course! 

Our pizza-loving heroes are back, fighting evil spirits with New York City’s other favorite foursome, the Ghostbusters!  In last month’s issue, the two groups tried to unite in capturing Chi-You, an evil demon somehow connected to our Turtles’ past. But, when Chi-You takes over the minds of Casey Jones and the entire New York hockey team, we find out that our good guys not only have to save the city, but the Turtles only have 72 hours to get back to their own dimension! Talk about a time crunch!

This month, some major action takes place as our eight heroes finally get the change to fight Chi-You, not once . . . but twice!  And, while Casey Jones tries to resist Chi-You’s control over him, he quickly becomes an even bigger problem for Raphael especially. 

What you can totally depend on in this issue, however, is that sharp humor from writers Erik Burnham and Tom Waltz.  This duo is hilarious!  The TMNT/Ghostbusters series is definitely one of the funniest comic book collections I’ve read since I started writing reviews this summer. And, with art by Dan Schoening and colors by Luis Antonio Delgado, I don’t think there’s a better team out there writing for either franchise.  Shout-out to sub subscription cover artist Cory Smith for his drawing of Mikey wearing a Ghostbuster backpack.  Way to go!
