Groupess.com's current bundle campaign offers over fourteen titles from fantastic indie publishers, including Alterna, Athlita, Source Point Press, Wannabe Press, Warrior Innkeeper, Guardian Knight, and Vivid Publishing. Buyers can name their price ($1 minimum) for the comic book bundle and choose for part of their contribution to be donated to Direct Relief International Charity.
Extreme Justice League (a.k.a. XJL) was founded in 2006 by San Diego superhero Mr. Xtreme and encourages the superhero alter egos of their members to stop violent street crime throughout San Diego through prevention, intervention, and community outreach. The XJL also serves as a means to prevent at-risk youth from getting involved in gangs, drugs, and crime. By raising awareness of crime and safety-related issues by passing out flyers and doing media campaigns, assisting the homeless by providing food, water, and referrals to shelters, and serving as a training center for new people trying to get involved in the Real Life Superhero community, the XJL is active in making its community a safer place through its support and resources. The group is always accepting new members, and the rules for admissions may be found on the XJL official website.
Where you're in the San Diego area and want to help your community or you're interested in receiving an exciting indie comic book bundle and making a donating to a worthwhile cause, I hope that you will give these wonderful organizations a moment of your time.
