The Fanboy Comics Staff attended the 38th Annual Saturn Awards on Thursday, July 26th, in Burbank, CA. Created by The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror, the event celebrated the fine work of creators and artists from the past year in TV, film, and theatre.
Before the awards were presented, we caught up with the Saturn Award presenters, nominees, and special guests on the red carpet to get the latest news and gossip from your favorite celebrities! Throughout this week, we will be posting all of our red carpet interviews and pictures for your viewing pleasure.

Fans of steampunk and RPGs rejoice! Starting on Friday, August 17th, at 7:00 p.m., Clockwork Couture in Burbank, CA, will be hosting the first edition of the Clockwork Gaming Laboratory, a tri-monthly gaming group of epic magnitude.
The first gaming group will be run by long-time RPG enthusiast Jason Enright, who is well versed in the geek world, given that he manages Emerald Knights - Comics and Games, owns the indie comic publishing company WE Comics, and is a Contributor for Fanboy Comics. He is also a social media addict and can be found tweeting away on his Twitter handle, @jasonenright.

In addition, Fanboy Comics is proud to announce its first SDCC signing! The creators of FBC's first graphic novel, Something Animal, will be at the Geekscape Booth (Booth #3919) on Friday, July 13th, from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Fans will be able to purchase signed copies of the graphic novel and official Fanboy Comics t-shirts, and receive updates on Identity Thief, FBC's second graphic novel to be released later this year.

From the easiest fixes (Is your computer turned on?) to the most quixotic of errors (Did you try turning it off and then on again?), these highly intelligent individuals enable us to complete our online endeavors with ease. In order to ensure that your website continues to function as it was intended, the staff of Fanboy Comics suggests that you devote this day to lavishing your webmaster with a fabulous lunch and your immense gratitude.

Our friends at the First Annual ITVfest Pop Culture Convention (a.k.a. PopConLA) have announced the dates and lineup for their convention this July, and we couldn't be more excited! Taking place from July 5-8, 2012, at the Los Angeles Convention Center, PopConLA will be fun for fans of TV, movies, comic books, fashion, music, and more!
The convention floor will be host to dozens of exhibitors' booths from the aforementioned genres of entertainment, while the Convention Center's 300-seat theatre will offer movie fans a welcome respite with countless screenings. In addition, industy superstars like Billy Dee Williams (Star Wars' Lando Calrissian) will be available for autographs, and the Break Out Room will offer panels and workshops like the Tron Panel with Bruce Boxleitner and Cindy Morgan.
