LOS ANGELES, CA – June 1, 2015 – Fanboy Comics (FBC) is excited to PvProclaim that it will publish the sixth issue of the creator-owned series, Penguins vs. Possums, which will be released at San Diego Comic-Con 2015.

The staff of Fanboy Comics would like to wish you a very happy Geek Pride Day! As the website that promises all things geek, we would be remiss if we did not inform our readers about one of the most important days of the year.

Are you in the mood for a night of comedy and magic? Then, you will not want to miss Glitches in Reality, an amazing blend of illusion, theatre, comedy, and music by award-winning Australian illusionist Simon Coronel, which will soon be showing at the Hollywood Fringe Festival from June 4-21, 2015.  The Hollywood Fringe Festival is an annual, open-access, community-derived event celebrating freedom of expression and collaboration in the performing arts community of Los Angeles, CA.

Comic book publisher Top Cow will soon be releasing the fourth issue of Postal, co-written by Matt Hawkins and Bryan Hill and illustrated by 2012 Talent Hunt Winner Isaac Goodhart (with pictured cover art by Linda Sejic). In light of the comic book's upcoming release on Wednesday, May 27, the publisher has been very generous to Fanboy Comics, as we are now able to share an advance preview of Issue #4!

October 21, 2015, was the date that Doc Brown, Marty McFly, and Jennifer Parker visited in Back to the Future: Part II, and, by no mere coincidence, 2015 is the 30th anniversary of Back to the Future. (It's a nice round number, after all.) For that reason, on the 21st of every month leading up to the big day, Fanbase Press invites you to join actor Samm Levine (Freaks and Geeks, Selfie) and FP Senior Contributor Drew Siragusa as they revisit the locations used in the BTTF films. Along the way, they will be joined by contributors writing about what Back to the Future means to them and how it has influenced their lives over the past three decades.

Stan Lee's global YouTube network, World of Heroes, is home to some of the best stories about heroes and the fans who love them.  To that end, World of Heroes is breaking new ground today by exclusively releasing the new music video, “Right Now,” by alternative rock band Never Let This Go.  Starring Alison Haislip (Team Unicorn) and Banks Boutte (Match), the music video melds writer/director Jennie Kong's visual sensibility for magical realistic storytelling with her love for comic book mythologies.  “Right Now” is the first single to be released from Never Let This Go’s upcoming 7-‐track album, Believe, which will be available on May 28, 2015.

The Staff of Fanboy Comics would like to wish you and yours a very happy International Museum Day! Every year since 1977, International Museum Day is organized worldwide around May 18.

Comic book publisher Top Cow will soon be releasing the second issue of The Tithe, written by Matt Hawkins and illustrated by Rahsan Ekedal, and the publisher has been very generous to the Fanboy Comics staff. In light of the comic book's upcoming release on Wednesday, May 20th, we are now able to share a preview of Issue #2!

LOS ANGELES, CA – MAY 11, 2015 – Fanboy Comics (FBC) is proud to announce the latest addition to its podcast lineup with the critically acclaimed series, The Arkham Sessions, hosted by Dr. Andrea Letamendi and Brian Ward!

Since early 2014, Letamendi and Ward have revisited Batman: The Animated Series through the analytical eyes of a clinical psychologist. Heralded as one of the greatest storytelling vehicles of all time, the television show’s tone, subject matter, and depth in storytelling and character development are exemplary and undergo the psychological analysis it deserves in The Arkham Sessions.

“I kept telling myself if I could just hold out until May, just May 8th, I would turn twelve and be able to sign up for the tessarae and get that precious oil and grain to feed us.” -Katniss Everdeen, The Hunger Games (pg. 27-28)

Dear Fanboy Comics Readers:

May 8th is the day that Panem welcomed everybody’s favorite Girl on Fire into the world. Today is the day we celebrate the birthday of Katniss Everdeen of District 12 (and The Hunger Games). The staff at FBC couldn’t be happier than to wish her an enjoyable and, hopefully, non-violent day, free of tessarae concerns, full of a chorus of mockingjays singing that classic b-day tune, and, one imagines, a delicious cake courtesy of the Mellark Bakery. (It pays to know someone on the inside . . . especially when it involves frosting!)
