About

The indie comic book scene continues to develop, expand, and produce incredibly insightful and impactful work with each passing day, and I am excited to share a preview with Fanboy Comics' readers of the soon-to-be released comic, Trans* Planetarium, which that tackles transgender issues, depression, and the impact had on the people around the transgender community.  The comic's creative team [Flip Knox (Story/Letters/Layouts/Logo), John Amberia (Pencils/Colors), Shallamar Muggott (Cover/Inks/Roughs), and Kristine Chester (Editor)] will be launching a Kickstarter campaign later this year to fund the printing of the book.  In the interim, they have been very generous to the Fanboy Comics staff by providing us with an advance preview of Trans* Planetarium!

October 21, 2015, was the date that Doc Brown, Marty McFly, and Jennifer Parker visited in Back to the Future: Part II, and, by no mere coincidence, 2015 is the 30th anniversary of Back to the Future. (It's a nice round number, after all.) For that reason, on the 21st of every month leading up to the big day, Fanboy Comics invites you to join actor Samm Levine (Freaks and Geeks, Selfie) and FBC Senior Contributor Drew Siragusa as they revisit the locations used in the BTTF films. Along the way, they will be joined by contributors writing about what Back to the Future means to them and how it has influenced their lives over the past three decades.

In light of the book's recent release, Sattin has generously provided Fanboy Comics with a preview of the first chapter of the book! Fanboy Comics is excited to be able to share this preview with you, and we hope that it will interest you in checking out the book!

Over the past few years, comic book creator and writer Daniel Corey has released several fantastic series, including Moriarty (with Sherlock Holmes' long-time villain as the protagonist) and Red City (a sci-fi action adventure tale), both of which were released through Image Comics.  Now, Corey has returned in full force with Bloodworth, a new digital one-shot published through his own publishing company, DangerKatt.  Set to release through ComiXology on Wednesday, September 16th, Bloodworth is a thriller about an FBI squad in the near future that can probe people’s memories to solve crimes.  The comic was written and created by Corey and illustrated by Chris Fenoglio (Red City, Orphan Black, Weird Kids).

For more information on the upcoming release, be sure to read the full press release below and visit dangerkatt.com.
