Blastoff Comics, the top-of-the-line comic book shop in North Hollywood, CA, invites you to attend the international book release party for Dark Horse Comics’ collected edition of Lady Killer, the critically acclaimed, sixties noir thriller!  Prolific fan-favorite writer Jamie S. Rich will join superstar artist Joelle Jones, who will be flying in for a rare Los Angeles appearance, on Saturday, September 5th, 2015, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Fanboy Comics staff is very excited to be exhibiting at Long Beach Comic Con next weekend, alongside a number of other talented independent creators! Taking place on Saturday, September 12 (from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.), and Sunday, September 13, 2015 (from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.), at the Long Beach Convention Center, the annual event is a celebration of comic books and pop culture that showcases the exceptional works of talented writers, artists, illustrators, and creators of all pop culture genres. In addition, Fanboy Comics will be hosting its perennial Indie Creators, Unite! panel on the process of comic book creation, and we invite you to join in on the fun!

Fanboy Comics invites you to attend He-Man and She-Ra Day at the Egyptian Theatre on Saturday, September 19, 2015!  Presented by the American Cinematheque, Dammaged Goods, and HeManWorld.com, the Egyptian host a full day of Masters of the Universe screenings and activities, culminating with the west coast premiere of Toy Masters, a documentary by filmmakers Corey Landis and Roger Lay Jr. that sets out to document the origin on He-Man.  With an all-day ticket price of only $15, you won't want to miss this Master-ful event!

October 21, 2015, was the date that Doc Brown, Marty McFly, and Jennifer Parker visited in Back to the Future: Part II, and, by no mere coincidence, 2015 is the 30th anniversary of Back to the Future. (It's a nice round number, after all.) For that reason, on the 21st of every month leading up to the big day, Fanboy Comics invites you to join actor Samm Levine (Freaks and Geeks, Selfie) and FBC Senior Contributor Drew Siragusa as they revisit the locations used in the BTTF films. Along the way, they will be joined by contributors writing about what Back to the Future means to them and how it has influenced their lives over the past three decades.

For comic book fans in the Southern California area, Long Beach Comic Con is an annual event that showcases the exceptional works of talented writers, artists, illustrators, and creators of all pop culture genres.  The convention will return once again this year, taking place from Saturday, September 12, through Sunday, September 13, and Fanboy Comics is excited to announce that its perennial panel, "Indie Creators, Unite! How to Make Self-Publishing a Reality," will be held on Sunday, September 13, from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. in Room 101A.  With talented panelists scheduled to appear and share their experiences in comic book creation, Fanboy Comics invites you to join in on the fun!
