The awesome folks at CA-based comic book retailer Collector’s Paradise are extending their Free Comic Book Day festivities into the whole month of May for Free Comic Book MAY, and they have generously invited the Fanbase Press team to join them for a signing at their Pasadena, CA, location on Saturday, May 18, 2019, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Fanbase Press is thrilled to announce that the upcoming trade paperback of its four-issue series, The Sequels, will feature a foreword written by Andre Gower (The Monster Squad, Wolfman’s Got Nards - A Documentary). The team is also revealing the brand new trade paperback cover, featuring the combined artwork of series cover artist Don Aguillo and interior artists/colorists Val Halvorson and Bobby Timony!
The Fanbase Press staff is very excited to be exhibiting for the very first time at the 2019 Los Angeles Festival of Books, alongside a number of other talented literary creators! Taking place from April 13-14, 2019, at the USC Campus, the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books gathers writers, poets, artists, filmmakers, musicians, and emerging storytellers as the largest event of its kind in the United States. Throughout the weekend, we will be meeting fans at the Fanbase Press booth (Booth 839), where you can purchase all of our comics and graphic novels - AND meet the creators! Plus, we will be sharing a booth with writer Justin Robinson (City of Devils) who will have all of his incredible books available for sale!

Taking place from March 29-31, 2019, at the Anaheim Convention Center, the annual event is a celebration of comic books and pop culture that showcases the exceptional works of talented writers, artists, illustrators, and creators of all pop culture genres. Throughout the weekend, we will be reporting live from the convention floor, providing you with the coolest interviews, commentaries, screening details, and photos - along with meeting fans at the Fanbase Press booth (Small Press SP-99), where you can purchase all of our comics and graphic novels! Plus, Fanbase Press' staff and contributors will be participating in quite a few intriguing panels throughout the weekend that you will not want to miss!

Taking place on Friday, March 15, and Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Modesto Junior College's West Campus in Modesto, CA, the event is the nation’s first convention dedicated to highlighting the work of comic book creators, illustrators, and others in the literary and visual arts whose work reflects the influence and celebration of Latino culture! On March 15 and 16 from 11 a.m. to *7 p.m. (*6 p.m. on Saturday), we will be meeting fans at the Fanbase Press booth, where you can purchase all of our comics and graphic novels!

ArtNight is a citywide arts festival in Pasadena, CA, held twice per year, highlighting music, dance, and all forms of visual arts, including comic books.
Fanbase Press is thrilled to announce the launch of “Between the Panels,” a bi-monthly interview series helmed by Kevin Sharp (Bookmarks, The First Line, After Dakota) that highlights comic book creators of all experience levels, providing insight into their creative process, working space, passion for the sequential art medium, and more.
