The Fanbase Press staff is very excited to be exhibiting for the first time at Comic Con Revolution: Ontario 2018, alongside a number of other talented independent creators! Taking place on May 19-20, 2018, at the Ontario Convention Center, the convention is expanding to two full days of programming and will feature over 160 Exhibitors and nearly 200 guests, including Chris Claremont (Uncanny X-Men), Kevin Conroy (Batman: The Animated Series), and Andrea Romano (Batman: The Animated Series)! Today, Fanbase Press is honored to announce its programming schedule for Comic Con Revolution, and we invite you to stay tuned for more updates regarding our creator signing schedule at the Fanbase Press booth (Artist Alley B-10).

It's the most wonderful time of the year! That's right, it's almost time for FREE COMIC BOOK DAY! You're invited to join Fanbase Press and a host of talented comic book creators in celebrating this special day on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at three exciting comic book locations throughout Southern California! With appearances at Hi De Ho Comics in Santa Monica, CA, The Comic Bug in Manhattan Beach, CA, and Earth-2 Comics in Sherman Oaks/Northridge, CA, you're sure to have a day full of comics and fun!

Fanbase Press is proud to announce that the Quality Time with Family Ties (QTWFT) podcast will return for its seventh and final season on Thursday, April 19, 2018!   

Fanbase Press is over-the-moon excited to announce the newest addition to its publishing slate with A Geek’s Guide to Cross-Stitch: Journeys in Space.  Created by Clarissa Thorne of Unexpected Hobby and formatted by Oceano Ransford (The Arcs, Eisner Award-nominated Rikki), Journeys in Space combines the art of cross-stitch with the science of space travel, providing a new outlet for geeky creativity for crafters of all experience levels.  

The Fanbase Press staff is very excited to be exhibiting at Silicon Valley Comic Con 2018, alongside a number of other talented independent creators! Taking place from April 6-8, 2018, at the San Jose Convention Center, the annual event is unites two of America’s greatest superheroes—pop culture and technology! SVCC invites you to join forces with top celebrities and independent artists, as they explore the new frontiers of cosplay, comics, video games, consumer electronics, music, and apps in the world’s tech capital. Throughout the weekend, we will be meeting fans at the Fanbase Press booth (Artist Alley 156), where you can purchase all of our comics and graphic novels!

The Fanbase Press staff is very excited to be exhibiting once again at WonderCon 2018, alongside a number of other talented independent creators! Taking place from March 23-25, 2018, at the Anaheim Convention Center, the annual event is a celebration of comic books and pop culture that showcases the exceptional works of talented writers, artists, illustrators, and creators of all pop culture genres. Throughout the weekend, we will be reporting live from the convention floor, providing you with the coolest interviews, commentaries, screening details, and photos - along with meeting fans at the Fanbase Press booth (Small Press SP-97), where you can purchase all of our comics and graphic novels! Plus, Fanbase Press' staff and contributors will be participating in quite a few intriguing panels throughout the weekend that you will not want to miss!

Fanbase Press is thrilled to announce the launch of “Fundamental Comics,” a monthly editorial series that introduces readers to comics, graphic novels, and manga that have been impactful to the sequential art medium and the comic book industry on a foundational level.  Each month, a new essay will examine a familiar or lesser-known title through an in-depth analysis, exploring the history of the title, significant themes, and context for the title’s popularity since it was first released.

The Fanbase Press staff is very excited to return to ArtNight Pasadena on Friday, March 9, 2018, from 6:00-10:00 p.m. at the Pasadena Public Library! ArtNight is a citywide arts festival in Pasadena, CA, held twice per year, highlighting music, dance, and all forms of visual arts, including comic books.

Fanbase Press is excited to announce the newest addition to its publishing slate with The Margins, an original, creator-owned graphic novel co-written by David Accampo (Lost Angels, DC’s New Talent Showcase 2017) and Paul Montgomery (Wormwood: A Serialized Mystery, Panels.net) and illustrated by Amanda Donahue.  Examining creativity’s dual nature in providing a healthy outlet for self-expression as well as a mechanism for avoidance, the graphic novel explores the excitement of an artist unlocking their imagination and the dire consequences of getting lost . . . in the margins.

The Horror Writers Association (HWA), a non-profit organization of writers and publishing professionals from around the world dedicated to promoting dark literature and the interests of those who write it, will once again be hosting StokerCon and the Ann Radcliffe Academic Conference from March 1-4, 2018, in Providence, RI.  Fanbase Press is honored to have many of its staff, contributors, and creators involved with this year's StokerCon, both as participants in the Ann Radcliffe Academic Conference and as nominees for this year's Bram Stoker Awards® for superior achievement in horror literature.
