Fanbase Press’ ‘The PREVIEWS Party Podcast’ Celebrates Its 3-Year Run with Retrospective Finale

After an incredible three-year run, Fanbase Press’ The PREVIEWS Party Podcast will come to a close with its final episode set to premiere on Friday, February 24, 2017.  Over the course of its run, The PREVIEWS Party Podcast has examined Diamond Comic Distributor, Inc.’s monthly pre-order catalog, offering insights to listeners on the upcoming comics, graphic novels, and other merchandise that would be available in stores nationwide.  Led by hosts Jason Enright (Fanbase Press Senior Contributor), Scott Rubin (Figures.com Collectibles Reviewer), Kristine Chester (Fanbase Press Senior Contributor), and Amanda Lawson (Manager of Emerald Knights Comics and Games), the show has educated comic book fans as to the exciting releases available, as well as the importance of pre-ordering and its effect on the comic book industry as a whole.

Having amassed more than 45 episodes over the past 3 years, the podcast has featured comic book publishers, creators, and retailers, including BOOM! Studios’ Ross Richie, Blastoff Comics co-owner Jud Meyers, comic book creators Corinna Bechko and Gabriel Hardman, and PREVIEWSworld editor Vince Brusio, who have shared their experiences with pre-ordering comics and other merchandise.

The final episode of The PREVIEWS Party Podcast will be released on Friday, February 24, 2017, on the Fanbase Press website (www.fanbasepress.com) and through Libsyn and iTunes.  In the episode, co-hosts Enright, Rubin, and Lawson – joined by guests Barbra and Bryant Dillon of Fanbase Press – look back at the podcast over the past three years, while also looking ahead to the possible future of pre-ordering within the comic book industry.
