Toy Artist Mikie Graham Unveils His New Body of Work at Kidrobot S.F. This Halloween

Greetings, Fanboy Comics readers!

It’s the Halloween season once again, and toy/sculpture artist Mikie Graham is back with another creepy, yet cute, line of custom-made figures.

DIY Monster week 3 49a

Starting October 1st, 2014, Graham began releasing a new Dunny Monster custom figure via his online store – one figure a day, every day of the month. Each character (which are various, ranging from Ghost Dunnys, to Werewolf Dunnys, to Devil Dunnys, and beyond!) was first released as a DIY version of the character ($15) and then the following day, released as a fully painted version of the same design ($45). That’s 15 characters and two variations for each characters, equaling thirty days of monster madness!

To top it all off, on October 31st, Graham will reveal his largest and most in-depth custom to date – a massive, 20″ Dunny Haunted House playset that all 15 mini monsters can be displayed in!

As an added bonus, for every 3 figures purchased, customers will receive a free “Jack O Lantern Dunny” available exclusively with multiple purchases (buy 3 get 1 “Jack O Lantern Dunny” free, buy 6 get a 2nd, buy 9 and receive another . . . and so on). There are 5 total special edition pumpkin styles to collect. Fans can collect all 15 monster customs to uncover what the mystery pumpkin design will be!

In addition, on Halloween itself, Graham will be showcasing his 30 new Monster Dunnys custom figures, along with his Mega Dunny haunted house playset at Kidrobot in San Francisco from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. Graham will be hosting a Halloween-themed get-together, featuring live art, candy, a costume contest, and tons of spooky fun, so FBC readers will not want to miss the shindig, if they are in the area!

Drop by, check out (and potentially purchase) one or all of Graham’s little monsters, and he asks me to remind our readers to be sure to come dressed in their best Halloween costume! (A little Monster Dunny hinted to me that the prize for best costume at the event will be an original hand-painted custom figure!)

If you’re interested in any of the figures, please check out Zombiemonkie.com to make a purchase.  If you’re interested in keeping up-to-date with all of Graham’s artistic endeavors, make sure to follow him on Twitter, @zombiemonkie.
