Fanboy Comics to Release Bill Sienkiewicz’s ‘Fearworms’ Print

LOS ANGELES, CA – September 10, 2014 – Fanboy Comics (FBC) is proud to announce that it will release a limited edition print of Fearworms: Selected Poems’ cover art by Eisner-winning, Emmy-nominated artist Bill Sienkiewicz (Elektra: Assassin, Stray Toasters, The New Mutants) at Son of Monsterpalooza this weekend.

Written and illustrated by Robert Payne Cabeen (Tainted Treats, Heavy Metal 2000, A Monkey’s Tale, Walking with Buddha), Fearworms is a collection of horror poems and full-color artwork that is guaranteed to have readers squirming. Cutting close to the bone, these manically crafted word machines are visceral, psychological, haunting, and terrifyingly humorous.  The book is scheduled for release from Fanboy Comics this fall.

The limited edition 11” x 17” print of Sienkiewicz’s cover art will be on sale throughout Son of Monsterpalooza at the Fanboy Comics booth. The convention will take place from Friday, September 12, through Sunday, September 14, 2014, at the Burbank Marriott Hotel and Convention Center. In addition to the cover art, select illustrations by Cabeen from Fearworms will be available for sale, and the writer/artist of the collection will be on hand for signings.

A free digital preview and a free audio sampling of Fearworms’ poetry are currently available on the book’s website, www.fearworms.com, and at www.fanboycomics.net.
