‘SKIN CRAWLING COMICS’ HORROR ANTHOLOGY IN PRODUCTION

JACKSONVILLE, FL – December 12, 2012 – Indie comic book writer Rachel Pandich (Womanthology: Heroic, Aspire) is proud to announce the development of her horror-themed comic book anthology, Skin Crawling Comics

Written by an assortment of up-and-coming writers including Pandich, Paul Chapman (Porn Gnomes and Other Strange Tales), Bryant Dillon (Something Animal, Identity Thief), and Jody Houser (Womathology: Space, Dead Roots), the collection will consist of terrifyingly creepy comics that span the horror spectrum.  The stories will feature artwork by talented creators including Ashley Lanni Hoye (Aspire), James Greene (Studio YOLO), Kate Carleton (Solestar, Womanthology Sketchbook), Laura Bearl (Free Candy and the UCCS 2010 Senior Art Exhibition), and Chris Thorne (The 36)!

Skin Crawling Comics is intended to be both a celebration of scary storytelling and a platform for independent creators to showcase their abilities.  Pandich, a longtime fan of the horror genre, initiated the anthology to remind audiences that there is more to the medium than the “boobs and blood” which have permeated the genre in recent years.  The comic scribe knew so many indie creators who shared her passion for scary stories that she jumped at the chance to highlight their work.

“Anthologies are fantastic opportunities for creators to work together,” says Pandich.  “Working on Womanthology made me realize that there are a ton of people with talent that just need a chance. Why not let Skin Crawling Comics be that opportunity?”

Skin Crawling Comics is currently being solicited to publishers with an intended release date of October 2013.
