Dear Fanboy Comics Readers:

The FBC staff is very excited to be exhibiting at the first ever Son of Monsterpalooza convention from October 26-28, 2012, at the Burbank Marriott in Burbank, CA.  Son of Monsterpalooza was created after the overwhelming success of Burbank’s annual Monsterpalooza convention (held each April), which celebrates the best in horror and sci-fi make-up, movies, and more. 

Fans in attendance will have a chance to stop by the Fanboy Comics booth to meet the creators of the graphic novels Something Animal and Identity Thief, which are sure to be a spooky treat just in time for Halloween.  Attendees will also be able to purchase the official Fanboy Comics t-shirt, so that they can show their geek pride in style.

All of the greats from the horror and sci-fi genre will be present at Son of Monsterpalooza, including Lance Henriksen (Aliens, Near Dark), Veronica Cartwright (Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Alien), Joe Turkel (The Shining), Tom Woodruff Jr. (The Thing, Wolf, Aliens, Ender’s Game), and John Amplas (Martin, Day of the Dead, Knightriders).  Don’t miss the Costume Contest on Saturday, October 27th, with first prize winning $1,000!  You can also watch industry professionals provide monstrous make-up demonstrations all weekend long!

Tickets are still available on the website and at the door, with Friday and Sunday tickets priced at $20 and Saturday tickets costing $25.  You can also purchase a weekend pass, so that you do not miss one moment of creepy goodness!
