On Saturday, June 6th, from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m., Emerald Knights Comics and Games in Burbank, CA, will be hosting its annual Open House in connection with Free RPG Day.
In addition to the free RPG giveaways, Emerald Knights will be running demos of all of the games that they regularly host. Participants will be able to join in top Roleplaying Games including Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition, Pathfinder, Dungeon Crawl Classics, and the new Marvel RPG that lets players take on the roles of the Avengers. The superhero fun continues with demos of HeroClix, Wizkids/Neca’s incredible comic mash-up game where you can play out any battle you can imagine from Wolverine vs. Gandalf to Superman vs. the U.S.S. Enterprise.
In addition, there will be demos of strategic war games (Warhammer 40k, Warmachine), board games (Dominion, Ticket to Ride), dice games (Dragon Dice, Zombie Dice), and the world’s most popular trading card game, Magic the Gathering. There will even be an ongoing painting demo throughout the day showcasing the skills needed to paint fantastic miniatures for all of your favorite games.
