It’s the most wonderful time of the year! That’s right, it’s almost time for FREE COMIC BOOK DAY! You’re invited to join Fanbase Press and a host of talented comic book creators in celebrating this special day on Saturday, May 4, 2019!  In addition to having all of our comics and graphic novels for sale, three of our talented creators will be on hand, signing copies of their books and offering sketches to the kiddos in attendance!

On the first Saturday in May each year, participating comic book shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely FREE to anyone who comes into their stores. This is a great way to bring those who may be unfamiliar with the comic book medium into the fold.

Here’s where you can find Fanbase Press on Free Comic Book Day this year:

Hi De Ho Comics – Santa Monica, CA (10 a.m. – 5 p.m.)

Fanbase Press co-founders Barbra and Bryant Dillon will be on hand at Hi De Ho Comics in Santa Monica, CA, with copies of their graphic novels and comics, including the 2018 Eisner Award-nominated Quince, the 2019 IPPY Award-winning A Geek’s Guide to Cross-Stitch: Journeys in Space, the 2014 Bram Stoker Award-nominated Fearworms: Selected Poems, The Sequels, The Margins, Hero Hotel, The Gamma Gals, Something Animal, Identity Thief, The Arcs, and Penguins vs. Possums. In addition, attendees will have a chance to pre-order our upcoming trade paperback for The Sequels, as well as to purchase an official Fanbase Press t-shirt and a Quince enamel pin.

Plus, don’t miss the talented Fanbase Press creators (listed below) who will be on hand signing copies of their books and illustrating sketches for the kiddos in attendance!
